Dove Hair is celebrating National Coffee Day this year with Dunkin Donuts. National Coffee Day is Saturday, September 29th — and Dove is extending the festivities with a pop-up styling café in New York City on Monday, October 1. The pop-up will offer free Dunkin’ coffee and a complimentary mini-styling appointment using their favorite Dove Dry Shampoo to cleanse and refresh their hair. It will be located in Manhattan’s Flatiron Plaza, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. On National Coffee Day, Saturday, September 29, any Dunkin’ guest who purchases a hot coffee will get one free. What does Dove have in common with the coffee shop? “The pairing of coffee and dry shampoo is the ultimate life hack,…” Dove says. The brand is “…celebrating ladies who are running on coffee and dry shampoo…” Piyush Jain, vice president of haircare, Unilever, says, “Social media has exploded with women sharing how coffee and dry shampoo are their secrets to getting up, out and on with their day… taking them from the gym, to the carpool, to the board room. We’re excited to bring together this unlikely but perfect pairing…” Patricia Healy, Senior Director of Integrated Marketing for Dunkin’ adds, “We’re excited to be running with Dove as we show our appreciation for busy, on-the-go women who turn to coffee and dry shampoo to fuel their days and save time…As a brand that’s all about unparalleled convenience, we celebrate life hacks like this that get and keep people running each and every day.” Fans of the two brands will be eligible to win a year’s supply of Dunkin’ coffee and Dove Dry Shampoo. The sweepstakes is open for entries now through November 8.
